Taking inspiration from a quote from Rosa Parks, we designed these large public spaces in a conceptual manner. Rosa Parks said, “Whatever my individual desires to be free, I was not alone. There were many others who felt the same way.” The concept we derived from the quote was “the power of individuals coming together for a common purpose”. The designs reflect that concept from their planting to the choices made in hard landscaping materials which result in public spaces which are thought provoking, practical and beautiful to be in.
